They wrapped this perfectly in the box to protect the shape and keep it from getting smashed or wrecked during shipping. It is a fairly affordable hat, so the quality is not high or stellar. It absolutely served the purpose for our daughter though, who needed it for a choir pop show at school and for a Western Night at church. I felt her hat looked better than many that I saw at these events, especially for the price. There were cheaper options online, but I am glad we went with this one because I think it looked great for what we needed it for. Fit her head well, she said it was comfortable, and it looked cute!
