They wrapped this perfectly in the box to protect the shape and keep it from getting smashed or wrecked during shipping. It is a fairly affordable hat, so the quality is not high or stellar. It absolutely served the purpose for our daughter though, who needed it for a choir pop show at school and for a Western Night at church.
